Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office

  Sheriff Thibodeaux took office on July 1, 2020.  He has worked for the Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office for over 23 years in various capacities.  He is a native of Pointe Coupee Parish and has served his community on many different boards and organizations.  Before his tenure as the Sheriff, he was a D.A.R.E. Officer.  He served as both President (2016) and Vice President (2015) of the Louisiana D.A.R.E. Association.

  His passion is truly for the community that he has called home his entire life. He is humbled and honored to serve as your Sheriff.  Making Pointe Coupee a safer, better community is his number one priority.
